Yacht Charter Bookings
Finding the right yacht can be overwhelming. We simplify the process by helping you source and book the most suitable yacht for your group through our trusted charter partners across Greece.
Why Book Through SAILAER?
There are plenty of websites that can show you hundreds of available yachts.
What they can’t offer is local knowledge, real-world experience and independent guidance from people who live and work within the Greek charter industry every day.
We don’t simply match enquiries to whichever yacht generates a commission. Our reputation depends on recommending yachts, charter companies and sailing areas that are genuinely the right fit for our clients.
Having spent years living and working throughout Greece, we know the charter companies, the bases, the sailing areas and many of the yachts themselves. We understand the differences that don’t always appear on a specification sheet or in a set of marketing photos.
Whether it’s choosing the right yacht layout for your family, selecting a sailing area that suits your experience level, or steering you away from a yacht that isn’t the best fit, our advice is based on practical experience rather than sales targets.
Our role is simple: to help you book with confidence, avoid costly mistakes and enjoy a sailing holiday that meets your expectations from the moment you step on board.
More Than Just A Booking Agent
When you book through SAILAER, you’re not just receiving a yacht offer.
You’re gaining an experienced point of contact who remains available throughout the booking process and in the lead-up to your charter.
We’ll help you navigate the practical details, liaise with charter companies on your behalf and answer the questions that inevitably arise when planning a sailing holiday in Greece.
From choosing the right yacht and sailing area to organising the finer details before arrival, we’re here to help make the process straightforward and enjoyable from start to finish.

Different seas, different experiences
Greece offers a wide variety of sailing experiences, depending on the region, season and prevailing winds. Choosing the right sailing area can be just as important as choosing the right yacht. Part of our role is helping you understand the differences and recommending a destination that best suits your group, experience level and expectations for the week.
The Ionian
is divided broadly into northern and southern sailing areas, each with its own character and accessible islands. Conditions are generally calmer than other parts of Greece, making it well suited to first-time sailors and relaxed groups, but it can be busy in peak season. Knowing when to move, where to linger and which harbours to avoid at certain times is key to keeping the experience easy and enjoyable.
The Saronic
offers varied islands, lively harbours and reliable sailing close to Athens. It suits guests who enjoy a balance of sailing and time ashore, and it’s also a versatile area that works well across much of the season.
The Cyclades
are shaped by the Meltemi wind, which is stronger at certain times of year and varies week by week. In settled conditions, especially in the Smaller Cyclades, sailing here can be beautiful, authentic and deeply rewarding. When conditions are less favourable, we’ll often favour more sheltered areas, such as the Saronic, to ensure the week remains enjoyable rather than demanding.
Because we work as a dedicated crew, our season naturally settles into specific sailing areas at different times. If we’re based in a particular region, we’ll plan charters there rather than moving between distant sailing areas to meet individual requests week to week. This allows us to stay grounded, well-prepared and fully focused on the experience on board.
The Sporades
The Sporades offer a greener side of Greece, with pine-covered islands, clear water and a more relaxed atmosphere. Conditions are generally moderate during summer, making the area popular with families, couples and guests looking for a balance of sailing, swimming and time ashore. The islands are less crowded than some of Greece’s better-known sailing regions, giving the area a more laid-back feel.
